Metro, knitting, 2016.
This beautifully knitted work is titled Metro. The lines represent the various train and subway paths of Los Angeles' Metro system. Additionally, the work is based on a Celtic knot motif. Celtic knots usually reflect a spiritual unity or an interconnectedness that is unbreakable. I love the layers of meaning in this gorgeous piece.
