Indivisible: Kristine Hatanaka's high school art class

I am thrilled to post lovely square number 52, a terrific work created by Harper, a student in Kristine Hatanaka's art class from Culver City High School Academy of Visual and Performing Arts:

Paint on canvas, 2017.

This beautiful painting echoes the idea that we must take care of the earth for children's (and everyone's) future. When I look at this piece, I think it is very timely considering what has been in the news recently regarding the current administration's views on environmental protections, climate change and the EPA. It is comforting to know that many states (including California) take climate change seriously and are working hard to continue to provide people with clean air and water. Please keep sending your squares to the Indivisible Project.
