Indivisible: Kristine Hatanaka's high school art class

I am very happy to share square number 98 created by Brendan, a student from Kristine Hatanaka's art class from Culver City High School Academy of Visual and Performing Arts:

 Pencil on paper.

This poignant work is a good example of the negative thought processes we all go through, but this is especially true of young people - mentally beating up on oneself, tearing oneself down, feeling isolated from the world.  But the work is balanced by the hopeful, supportive words on the left side of the drawing: "You've got this!"  "We're here for you!" "Don't give up!" "Keep going!"

Please keep sending your squares to the Indivisible Project.
