Indivisible: Moorpark College Art Students

I am happy to present square number 109 created by art student  Jesus I. from Professor Erika Lizée's Gallery Practices class at Moorpark College:

No Longer Slient, Speak Freely, inkjet print, 2018.

This work was shown at the Moorpark College Art Gallery this past April along with the existing Indivisible Project squares.

About this print, Jesus writes: "This image is inspired in part by the recent student marches that have taken place around school shootings and gun control and also by women who have spoken out about the sexual abuse they have endured.  The actions of these people give me hope in knowing that there will always be people that work to enact the change they want to see. The frustration of not being heard and taking action is what I wanted to highlight in this image because we are able to make change in the world if we speak out when we know that there are problems and take steps to correct them."

Please keep sending your squares to the Indivisible Project.
