Indivisible: Moorpark College Art Students

I am pleased to present square number 118 created by art student Rosie R. from Professor Erika Lizée's Gallery Practices class at Moorpark College:

Sugar and sky, graphite, ink, watercolor on watercolor paper, 2018.

This work was shown at the Moorpark College Art Gallery this past April along with the existing Indivisible Project squares.

About this piece, Rosie writes this:  "My work for this exhibit centers on the theme on unity.  The pink and blue color blocks of the background combine, and the rose centered in the empty space uses both colors.  I wanted to speak to the fact that there's always room for new growth, and when good forces come together, beautiful new things can grow and develop."

Please keep sending your squares to the Indivisible Project.
